# Related products

The related products section displays recommendations powered by Shopify’s Search & Discovery app. It automatically surfaces products similar to the current item to help customers explore alternatives and continue shopping.

#### Header

Controls whether the section header is displayed above the related products.

#### Direction

Defines the layout direction of products on desktop. Set to “Row” for a horizontal layout; mobile always uses a column layout.

#### Heading

The title displayed for the section. Leave blank to use the theme default.

#### Subheading

Optional supporting text displayed below the heading. Leave blank to use the theme default.

#### Product limit

Sets the maximum number of related products to display. Default is 10.

#### Show divider

Toggles a visual divider to separate the section from surrounding content for improved readability.

#### Vertical spacing

Controls spacing around the section to adjust its layout within the product page.

#### Vertical spacing (desktop)

Sets the amount of vertical spacing applied on desktop devices. Default is Large.

#### Vertical spacing (mobile)

Sets the amount of vertical spacing applied on mobile devices for improved mobile layout consistency.
