<figure><img src="/files/k4peAlAEEv2sItXsjhB8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can use the checkout and accounts editor to customize and manage the functionality and appearance of your checkout, thank you and [order status](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/status-tracking) pages, and [customer accounts](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/customers/customer-accounts/new-customer-accounts) pages in a single place that's separate from your [theme editor](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/customizing-themes/theme-editor). With the checkout and accounts editor, you can customize your branding and add apps to enhance these pages.

To customize the appearance of your checkout, you can add your brand's logo, add a background color or image, and change the colors and font on the checkout, thank you, and order status pages. Some of the branding options that you add to your checkout automatically apply to your [customer account pages](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/customers/customer-accounts/new-customer-accounts).

You can also install apps from the [Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/collections/customize-checkout-with-apps), and then add them to pages using the checkout and accounts editor. App developers and Shopify Partners can build apps for you to add additional functionalities to these pages. For example, you can install an item upsell app, and then add it to your checkout's order summary area to let customers add additional items to their cart during checkout.

Standard checkout customizations are available on all pages for businesses that are on the Basic plan or higher. Advanced checkout customization features are available only on the Shopify Plus plan.
