# Related products

The related products section displays recommendations based on the first item in the cart. It uses Shopify’s Search & Discovery app to surface similar or alternative products when the cart is not empty, helping customers continue browsing relevant items.

#### Header

Controls whether the section header is displayed above the related product recommendations.

#### Direction

Defines the layout direction on desktop. Set to “Row” for a horizontal layout; mobile always uses a column layout.

#### Heading

The title shown for the section. Leave blank to use the theme default.

#### Subheading

Optional supporting text displayed below the heading. Leave blank to use the theme default.

#### Product limit

Sets the maximum number of related products to display. Default is 10.

#### Show divider

Toggles a visual divider to separate the section from other cart content for improved clarity.

#### Vertical spacing

Controls spacing around the section to adjust its visual hierarchy within the cart page.

#### Vertical spacing (desktop)

Sets the vertical spacing applied on desktop devices. Default is Large.

#### Vertical spacing (mobile)

Sets the vertical spacing applied on mobile devices to ensure consistent spacing across screen sizes.
